Good luck making it home through the Friday rush hour, for you will be driving in what has emerged as the key crunch time for motorists.
Research from accident management company Accident Exchange shows that road users are more likely to have an accident during a Friday evening rush hour than at any other time during the year - especially if they're on the road between 5pm and 6pm.
Across the year, said Accident Exchange, motorists are more than twice as likely to be involved in a crash on a Friday (17.9 per cent) than on the quietest day of the week, Sunday (8.8 per cent).
It's hardly a surprise really. The roads on a Friday evening can sometime be total bedlam.
Have a good weekend all!
